drawing or watercolour, from £70 depending on size and detail and number of animals or people in the portrait.
Oil portrait - from £120 depending on size and detail, number of animals or people in the portrait and whether canvas is 3D (deep sided canvas where the edges can be painted to match the portrait which means framing is not necessary) or normal canvas which needs to be framed.
Frames
As frames are open to very personal taste, I do not provide a framing service.
Portraits are painted from photographs. I need one to show the pose plus any others you may have for reference as colours vary.
It is preferable to meet you and discuss exactly what you want (I live near East Grinstead, East Sussex) but if this is not feasible I can paint from your photographs or jpegs and talk to you over the phone or via email.
I can paint anything and in almost any style. I will only ask you for payment when you are satisfied with your painting as I am very aware that a painting lasts a long time and you will be looking at it regularly so it has to be perfect!
Paintings are normally completed within 3 weeks

Payments can be made with cheque, cash or via PayPal using their Email Payments option. This allows you to pay online using a credit card, bank account or PayPal balance. Once you are completely happy with your portrait (you can view it at my home or I can send you a jepg photo of it), I will send a paypal invoice.
Delivery of your portrait is free worldwide. Within the UK portraits are sent using Royal Mails Special Delivery service. This guarantees next working day delivery. All overseas portraits are sent using Parcelforce where time of delivery can vary between 5 and 8 days.
